From Monday, 30 August 2004, the Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) emergency vehicle will depart from the US Depot stop four minutes earlier than before. The city bus will start its journey at 7.27 am. The bus travels via the stops Rudolf-Diesel-Straße (departure: 7.28 a.m.), Heyerweg (departure: 7.29 a.m.), Waldstadion (departure: 7.30 a.m.) to Philosophenwald. At 7.36 a.m. the city bus departs again from the Philosophenwald bus stop.

From the Kantstraße bus stop (departure: 7.37 am) via August-Messer-Straße (departure: 7.38 am) and Pestalozzistraße (departure: 7.39 am), the bus travels to Berliner Platz. It arrives there at 7:47 am.

With this timetable change, SWG is responding to the wishes of numerous parents, whose aim is to ensure that pupils from the Eulenkopf and Philosophenwald residential areas in particular arrive at Pestalozzi School in good time before school starts. The new journey times are also signposted at the bus stops concerned.
