From Tuesday, 17 May 2005 at approx. 08:00 a.m. line 1 will be diverted in Schubertstraße: From the Max-Reger-Straße stop, it will run into town via the street "Am Zollstock" to Frankfurter Straße and then on to the Schubertstraße stop. The Richard-Wagner-Straße stop will be cancelled. The normal route will be maintained in the direction of Allendorf/Lützellinden. The diversion will last approx. 4 weeks due to the laying of district heating pipes. From Wednesday 18 May 2005, Licher Straße will be fully closed due to asphalting work. Line 2 will run in both directions via Grünberger Straße and Georg-Phillip-Gail-Straße. The Nahrungsberg stop will be cancelled. The Wolfstraße stop can be used as a replacement. Line 10 B also runs via Georg-Phillip-Gail-Straße, Grünberger Straße to the Berliner Platz stop. The Schwanenteich stop will be cancelled for line 10 A. The construction work will take approx. 2 weeks and Stadtwerke Gießen asks its passengers for their understanding for any delays that may occur.
