Due to construction work, bus routes 7 and 12 will have to take a diversion for about a month.
Sewer and road construction work is being carried out on Rodheimer Straße between August-Balzer-Weg and the street "An der Hessenhalle". As a result, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) will have to divert bus routes 7 and 12 into the city centre. From Tuesday 26 July from the start of operations until probably 26 August, the buses will run via the road "An der Hessenhalle" and Schlachthofstraße.
Due to the roadworks, the "Hardtallee" and "Hessenhalle" stops in Rodheimer Straße cannot be reached. SWG is therefore setting up a replacement stop for the "Hardtallee" stop in the street "An der Hessenhalle" at the level of the large car park. Passengers who would normally use the "Hessenhalle" stop can change to the "Schützenstraße" stop. There is no diversion out of town.
