A partial closure of Rödgener Straße will lead to the diversion of bus lines 1 and 17.

Extensive explosive ordnance probing is planned on Rödgener Straße from 4 to 12 November 2024. The work will make it necessary to close the carriageway leading into the city between Lufthansastrasse and Rudolf-Diesel-Strasse. This will also affect bus routes 1 and 17 in the direction of the city centre.

Line 1

Line 1 will travel in the direction of Lützellinden from Rödgen via Lufthansastraße, Stolzenmorgen Straße, Zeppelinstraße and Rudolf-Diesel-Straße. The "Sophie-Scholl-Schule" stop will therefore be cancelled in this direction. Alternatively, the buses will use the "Stolzenmorgen" stop in Lufthansastraße and the "Gefahrenabwehrzentrum" stop in Stolzenmorgen Straße. Due to this diversions, journey times in the direction of the city centre will be longer. To compensate for this, the departure times of line 1 will be moved forward by a few minutes at all stops from "Bürgerhaus" to "Industriestraße".

Line 17
Line 17 will not run as usual from the starting stop "Colemanstraße" in the direction of the train station via the stops "Gefahrenabwehrzentrum", "Lufthansastraße", "Stolzenmorgen" and "Sophie-Scholl-Schule". Instead, the buses will return to Rödgener Straße via Colemanstraße, Oberlachweg and Rudolf-Diesel-Straße. From here, they will follow the regular route. Due to the current route, it will still be possible to use the "Gefahrenabwehrzentrum" and "Stolzenmorgen" stops in the direction of the train station - but from the opposite stops.
