Diversion for Line 7 and the Venus night bus service

Due to sewer works, buses on route 7 and the Venus night bus service are following an alternative route.

On Monday, 21 September 2026, Mittelhessische Wasserbetriebe will begin work on the sewer running through the junction of Moltkestraße, Eichgärtenallee and Roonstraße. As a result, there will be a partial closure in this area, which will affect the routes of bus line 7 and the Venus night bus service: Bus route 7, travelling towards ‘Evangelisches Krankenhaus’, will be diverted from the ‘Professorenweg’ stop via Jahnstraße, Pestalozzistraße, Curtmannstraße and Grünberger Straße to the ‘Berliner Platz’ stop. On Curtmannstraße, buses will serve the temporary stop ‘Pestalozzischule’. Buses on route 7 travelling in this direction will not be able to stop at ‘Schwanenteich’. Buses travelling towards ‘Philosophenwald’ will operate as usual.

Night buses on the Venus route travelling towards ‘Wieseck’ will stop at the ‘Behördenzentrum’ stop instead of the usual ‘Berliner Platz’ stop. The buses will then continue via Ostanlage to the ‘Landgericht’ stop. Coming from Wieseck, the night buses will run from the ‘Kantstraße’ stop via Eichgärtenallee, Curtmannstraße and Grünberger Straße to the ‘Berliner Platz’ stop. The Venus route is also unable to serve the ‘Schwanenteich’ stop and will instead stop at the alternative stop ‘Pestalozzischule’ on Curtmannstraße.
