Roadworks at the "Eichendorffring" stop necessitate the diversion of line 2 and the Saturn night bus route.
From next Monday, 18 September, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) will have to reroute the buses on line 2 and the Saturn night buses due to roadworks at the "Eichendorffring" stop. The alternative route only affects journeys in the direction of "Eichendorffring" and is expected to remain in place until 2 October 2023.
From the "Friedensstraße" stop, the alternative route runs via Heinrich-Fourier-Straße and Anneröder Weg. This route requires the "Graudenzer Straße" stop to be relocated to Heinrich-Fourier-Straße. The "Eichendorffring" stop will temporarily move to the corner of Fasanenweg and Anneröder Weg. For the duration of the diversion, the buses will not be able to serve the "Fasanenweg" stop in the direction of Eichendorffring.
