Lines 5 and 15 as well as the night bus line "Venus" will be running on a diversion route in Giessen-Wieseck from 13 October due to construction work - probably for around six weeks.
On Monday, 13 October, construction work will begin on the renovation of the Alte-Busecker Straße in Giessen-Wieseck. For this reason, city bus routes 5 and 15 as well as the night bus route "Venus" will take an alternative route out of town from the start of operations on 13 October.
From the "Wieseck-Friedhof" stop, the buses will travel via Alten-Busecker Straße and Treiser Weg to the alternative stop "Greizer Straße" near Krumstück Straße. From there, the return journey will be via Kiesweg to the "Hölderlinweg" stop and on towards the railway station.
For the duration of the construction work - probably six weeks - the following stops will not be served: "Weimarer Straße", "Greizer Straße" and "Jenaer Straße". Stadtwerke Gießen is setting up replacement stops in Treiser Weg near Sandacker Straße and near Krumstück Straße.
