Diversion for bus routes 3 and 13

From Monday 26 October 2015, bus routes 3 and 13 will have to take a diversion in both directions. Instead of travelling through Asterweg, they will take a small loop via Marburger Straße. The reason for this is the replacement of a bollard in Asterweg. The work is expected to take five days. During this time, Asterweg between Schwarzlachweg and Sudetenlandstraße will be fully closed. As a result, buses on routes 3 and 13 will temporarily not be able to travel to the "Schwarzlachweg" and "Asterweg" stops.
From the "Egerländer Straße" stop, the routes will run via Sudetenlandstraße, Marburger Straße and Nordanlage in the direction of Marktplatz. The transport experts at Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) have set up the "Steinstraße" stop as an alternative stop. In the opposite direction, the changed route begins at the "Oswaldsgarten" stop. From here, the buses will follow Nordanlage, Marburger Straße and Sudetenlandstraße before returning to the usual route in Egerländer Straße. There are two alternative stops in the direction of the cemetery: "Nordanlage" (in the Nordanlage) and "Steinstraße".
