From Saturday 27 June 2026 to Monday 29 June 2026, DB InfraGO AG will be carrying out track works. As a result, the level crossing on Licher Straße will be closed on these three days. As a result, MIT.BUS will have to divert route 2 from the ‘Lutherberg Ersatz’ stop on Licher Straße via Lutherberg and Alter Steinbacher Weg to the terminus ‘Ostschule’. Due to this alternative route, the stops ‘Lutherberg’, ‘Friedensstraße’, ‘Graudenzer Straße’, ‘Fasanenweg’ and ‘Eichendorffring’ will not be served. This affects all services from Friday, 26 June 2026, from around 8.30 pm until the end of service on Monday. The minibuses between the ‘Graudenzer Straße’ stop and the ‘An der Automeile’ or ‘Versailler Straße’ stops will run as usual on Monday, 29 June 2026.
The Saturn night buses will run from the “Lutherberg Ersatz” stop on Licher Straße via Georg-Philipp-Gail-Straße onto Grünbergerstraße to the “Studentendorf” stop, and from there will resume their regular route with the usual timings. On this diversion route, the Saturn line will also serve the ‘Volkshalle’, ‘Waldstadion’ and ‘Heyerweg’ stops. However, the stops ‘Lutherberg’, ‘Graudenzer Straße’, ‘Fasanenweg’, ‘Eichendorfring’ and ‘Automeile Süd’ cannot be served. This arrangement applies on the nights of 26 to 27 June 2026 and 27 to 28 June 2026.
