From the start of operations on Tuesday 19 July until the expected end of operations on 26 July, buses on routes 7, 12 and 24 will be running into the city on a diversion route. Due to construction work in Rodheimer Straße at the Hardtallee junction, they will run via An der Hessenhalle and Schlachthofstraße to the "Schützenstraße" stop.
Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) is setting up a replacement stop "Hardtallee" in the street An der Hessenhalle - between the entrance to the company Karosseriebau Scholz and the car park at the Hessenhallen. The buses will not be able to use the usual stops "Hardtallee" and "Hessenhallen" between 19 July and probably 26 July. No diversion is necessary in the direction out of town - Ev. Krankenhaus, Gewerbegebiet West and Heuchelheim/Wetzlar.
SWG would like to point out that due to the construction work, the VGO lines 41, 42, 43 and 44 in the direction of the railway station will also take the same diversion route as the Giessen city bus lines. The following also applies to them: out of town - in the direction of Biebertal - they are travelling on the normal route.

Diversion for night bus "Venus"
The night bus line "Venus" also has to take a diversion due to the work on Rodheimer Straße - at the weekend from 22 to 24 July. During this time, the buses will travel via An der Hessenhalle and August-Balzer-Weg and serve the replacement stop "Hardtallee" in An der Hessenhalle between the entrance to the Scholz bodywork company and the car park at the Hessenhallen.
