The coronavirus situation is now leading to adjustments to the bus timetables: from 30 March, Giessen's city buses will run according to the current Saturday timetable.

Due to the development of the coronavirus situation, those responsible at the City of Giessen and Stadtwerke Giessen (SWG) have decided to adapt the local transport services to the current situation. This means that from next Monday, 30 March, the Saturday timetable will apply to all lines from Monday to Friday until further notice. However, there is one exception: the line 2 taxi will run between the stops "Graudenzer Straße" and "Automeile/Europaviertel" according to the usual timetable from Monday to Friday.
On Sundays and public holidays, the buses run according to the regular Sunday timetable. The SATURN and VENUS night buses, on the other hand, will remain in the depot from Friday 27 March until further notice.

Always up to date
Information on current departure times can be found at the RMV online information centre at www.rmv.de. SWG is asking its passengers to make greater use of this medium for timetable information. The timetables can also be viewed and updated on the website www.swg-verkehr.de/fahrplaene. Last but not least, passengers can of course check the "Saturday" column on the timetable notice board.
In addition, the mobility centre is available Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. The staff at the mobility centre can provide information on the situation on 0641 708-1400. They will also answer questions received by e-mail: mobizentrale@stadtwerke-giessen.de
