Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) tent camps on the grounds of the Ringallee swimming centre have started again just in time for the school holidays.

Just in time for the start of the school holidays, Stadtwerke Gießen AG's (SWG) tent camps have started again on the grounds of the Ringallee swimming centre. Children have been registering for the respective dates for weeks. Every week, numerous supervisors organise an individual programme for the 9 to 14-year-olds. SWG has been organising the tent camps for the young participants for over ten years. Experience has shown that flexibility is everything. "Unfortunately, the weather often plays tricks on us. The cool water in the swimming pool at the Ringallee outdoor pool is the most fun for the children when the weather is good," said one of the carers. Fortunately, the indoor pool is right next door. When it does rain, the young swimmers do their lengths in the Ringallee indoor pool.

Every day, the carers present the children with a variety of leisure activities. From beach volleyball to a short city excursion, where the children have to skilfully solve tasks, to night hikes - there is something for everyone. An absolute highlight is the famous day trip. This year it takes the participants to the Biggesee lake and the stalactite cave in Attendorn.

To make every day special, the group has a barbecue together or just listens to the carers' stories.

Anyone who has always wanted to experience the varied tent camps now has the opportunity to do so. The camps are always from Monday to Friday. Four nights in tents with camp beds, all meals and the exciting programme cost 77 euros.

Anyone still wishing to take part should register as soon as possible by calling 0641 708-1411.
