From Monday 22 May, Schubertstraße between Robert-Sommer-Straße and Aulweg in Giessen will be closed to traffic. The reason for this is sewer construction work, which is expected to last until Friday, 9 June. During this time, buses on lines 10 and 13 and the Saturn night bus line will also have to take a diversion.
Line 10 will run in both directions via Friedrichstraße and Wartweg. For this reason, the stops "Klinikstraße", "Schubertstraße", "Haydnstraße" and "Paul-Meimberg-Straße" as well as "Friedrichstraße" out of town will be cancelled during the construction work. As a replacement, the buses will stop at the following stops: "Friedrichstraße" in Friedrichstraße, "Petruskirche" in both directions of travel, as well as a replacement stop "Paul-Meimberg-Straße" in Wartweg on the corner of Fichtestraße, also in both directions of travel.
For line 13, the stops "Georg-Haas-Straße", "Finanzamt", "Richard-Wagner-Straße", "Max-Reger-Straße", "Christian-Rinck-Straße" and the final stop "Dialysezentrum" will be cancelled in both directions. The "Schlangenzahl" stop and the "Siegmund-Heichelheim-Straße" stop will be available instead.
The Saturn night bus will run on the nights of 25, 27 and 28 May and on the nights of 3, 4 and 5 June via Schubertstraße, Frankfurter Straße, Friedrichstraße and Wartweg. This means that it will not be able to call at the "Haydnstraße" and "Paul-Meimberg-Straße" stops. Alternatively, the buses will stop at the replacement stop "Paul-Meimberg-Straße" in Wartweg on the corner of Fichtestraße.
