The Giessen fifties associations are once again inviting visitors to the traditional Wäldchesfest on the Schiffenberg on 21 September. For all visitors who wish to travel from Giessen city centre by public transport, Stadtwerke Giessen (SWG) will be temporarily operating additional buses between the Berliner Platz and Schiffenberg stops. "As the event starts at 10.30 a.m., many guests will probably already be using the bus in the morning," explains Anne Müller-Kreutz, Head of Local Transport Services at SWG.
For this reason, line 6 will depart Berliner Platz every 30 minutes from 10.21 am until 11.51 am. The regular timetable will then apply. Last journey in the direction of Schiffenberg: 17:51 from Berliner Platz. The last return journey from Schiffenberg in the direction of the city centre departs at 18:06.
