The Giessen fifties associations are once again inviting visitors to the Wäldchesfest on 15 September on the Schiffenberg. For all visitors who want to travel from Giessen city centre by public transport, Stadtwerke Giessen (SWG) will be running temporary additional buses between Berliner Platz and Schiffenberg. "The event starts at 10.30 a.m. and experience has shown that many guests use the bus, especially in the morning," explains Anne Müller-Kreutz, Head of Local Transport Services at SWG. From 10.21 a.m. until 11.51 a.m., bus route 6 will therefore depart from Berliner Platz every 30 minutes. The regular timetable will then apply again.
The last journey in the direction of Schiffenberg leaves Berliner Platz at 17:51, the last return journey from Schiffenberg at 18:06.
