As in previous years, the city buses operated by Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) will run according to the Saturday timetable on Christmas Eve from the start of service until around 17:00. The Saturday timetable also applies on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day from the start of service until the end of service. Lines 1 (Rödgen - Lützellinden) and 5 (Wieseck - Gießen station) will leave their routes a little earlier.

24.12.2003 Bus timetable on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

As in previous years, the city buses operated by Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG) will run according to the Saturday timetable on Christmas Eve from the start of service until around 17:00. The Saturday timetable also applies on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day from the start of service until the end of service. Lines 1 (Rödgen - Lützellinden) and 5 (Wieseck - Gießen station) will leave their routes a little earlier. The buses on these lines return to the SWG premises at around 11.30 pm.

On the night from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day, the buses run between 01:00 and 04:00 in a so-called circular service. Three night bus routes run every 60 minutes.

Line A

Line A runs from Schiffenberger Tal via Südviertel, Kleinlinden and Allendorf to Lützellinden.

Line B

Line B runs via Wieseck and Rödgen to Anneröder Siedlung.

Line C

Line C runs from Schwanenteich via Weststadt to Heuchelheim.

SWG already advertise the night bus routes in the city buses. Passengers can obtain more detailed information and timetables for the night bus routes A, B and C from the SWG mobility centre in the infoCentre on Marktplatz. The staff at the mobility centre are available to passengers from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00.
