From Monday 15 May, the Behördenzentrum stop in the direction of the railway station, Marktplatz and Berliner Platz, as well as the associated bus lane in the Ostanlage, will be closed. The reason for this is the bus stop refurbishment and the relocation of electricity and gas in this area.
Replacement stops
The Stadttheater bus stop in the direction of Marktplatz will be used as an alternative stop for routes 5 and 12. An alternative stop will be set up for the city bus line 15, as well as for the buses of Regionalverkehr Kurhessen (RKH) and Verkehrsgesellschaft Oberhessen (VGO).
The replacement stop Behördenzentrum will be located approximately 20 metres in front of the existing bus lane in the Ostanlage, opposite the district administration office. The departure times of the individual routes will not change as a result. During the construction work, one lane of the two-lane eastbound carriageway will also be closed. Due to the lane narrowing and the traffic lights at Berliner Platz, there may be obstructions and traffic jams in this area.
Stadtwerke asks its passengers and all road users for their understanding for any traffic obstructions or delays that may occur.
