As the renovation work on Ludwigstraße is progressing, buses on lines 3, 6, 13 and 802 and the regular taxi service on line 9 are able to resume their regular routes.
Since November 2022, the buses on lines 3, 6, 13, 802, the scheduled taxi 9 and the regional bus lines GI-43, 310, 372, 375 and 377 have been avoiding extensive renovation work in Ludwigstraße between the Bismarckstraße junction and Ludwigsplatz and are taking a diversion. This section of the construction work will be completed on 31 May. From 1 June, the buses previously affected by the diversion will therefore once again follow the route via Bismarckstraße, Ludwigstraße and Ludwigsplatz to the "Berliner Platz" stop. The Liebigschule bus stop in Bismarckstraße can be approached again in both directions. The Saturn night bus will also be able to return to the Liebigschule and Sternmark stops, which have been cancelled.
Line 11 of the Wetzlar transport company will still have to use the diversions route. Although the construction site in Ludwigstraße has moved on, it is still preventing the usual route.
