Bus diversion in Wettenberg

Due to the Krämermarkt in Wettenberg, there will be bus diversions in Wettenberg-Wißmar on Thursday, 14 May 2026.

This year, the municipality of Wettenberg is once again organising the traditional grocer's market in the streets of Wißmar on Ascension Day. Some streets in the town centre will be closed on Thursday, 14 May 2026, between 7 am and 10 pm. As a result, the buses that normally travel there will have to take an alternative route on this day and will not be able to make some stops.

Adjusted timetable
During this period, buses on route 801 coming from the "Holz und Technik-Museum" stop will turn right at the junction with Ruttershausener Straße and then right into Fischerweg at the end of the village. The route then leads via the street "Kellersgärten", Marburger Straße and Launsbacher Straße back to Launsbach.

In Wißmar, route 801 cannot serve the stops "Ruttershausener Straße", "Evangelische Kirche", "Krofdorfer Straße" and "Auf der Heide" on route 801. A replacement stop will be set up in the street "Auf der Hohl" before the junction with Ruttershausener Straße. In Launsbach, the stops "Mittelmark", "Evangelisches Gemeindehaus" and "Linde" in Ludwig-Rinn-Straße will be cancelled. The "Ortszentrum" stop in the street "Obergasse" will be used as a replacement.
