Stadtwerke Gießen always organises an attractive competition on the occasion of BauExpo. The three prizes have now been awarded.
Even before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) organised a stand at Hesse's largest construction trade fair, BauExpo, as it does every year in February. The focus was on two topics: the new SWG key depot service and the direct heating contracting offer. As the name suggests, the SWG key depot offers the option of securely storing a spare key. The great advantage is that this key can be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With Wärme direkt, SWG offers homeowners the option of modernising their heating system without having to invest.
Information and entertainment
Naturally, most visitors to the stand had questions about the new services and the topic of energy. But in addition, an event like this always offers enough room for a little entertainment and the traditional BauExpo competition. As in previous years, SWG Gießener Gießener offered green electricity. With success: over 600 people played for 1,000, 750 and 500 kilowatt hours respectively.
Three participants were lucky: the first prize, i.e. 1,000 kilowatt hours of Giessen green electricity, went to Linden. The winner of 750 kilowatt hours lives in Buseck. And a lady from Bersrod was delighted with third place and 500 kilowatt hours.
Unlike usual, this time SWG was unable to receive the winners in person at the SWG customer centre on Marktplatz. Instead, they sent the vouchers by post.
