Every year, Giessen hosts Hessen's largest construction trade fair - the BauExpo. Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) is always there. This February, two topics dominated the stand of the energy experts from Lahnstraße: the new contracting offer Wärme direkt and the new E-Revolution product world. With Wärme direkt, SWG gives homeowners the opportunity to modernise their heating without having to invest a lot of money. With the E-Revolution, the name is to be understood literally: In fact, SWG have rethought e-mobility and are preparing to give the market a massive boost - at least in the region. This is because the modular concept is not only thoroughly coherent, it also impresses above all with its unrivalled low prices.

Information and entertainment

Of course, SWG will not only provide visitors to the trade fair with a wealth of information on the subject of energy. On such an occasion, there is always room for entertainment and, of course, the traditional BauExpo competition. This year, SWG offered Giessen green electricity as a prize. And they hit the bull's eye: over 600 people took part in the prize draw.

However, only three of them won: Harald Hendrich from Buseck had the best connection to Lady Luck and received 1000 kilowatt hours of Giessen green electricity. Horst Haase from Lollar came second with 750 kilowatt hours. And Karin Krug-Weimann from Giessen can look forward to third place and 500 kilowatt hours.

The main winner and the third place winner met with Michael Rösner, Head of Sales Private & Commercial Customers at SWG, at the SWG customer centre on the market square on 28 March. He handed over the attractive prizes in the form of vouchers.
