After three and a half years of training, four more trainees at Stadtwerke Gießen AG now have their skilled labour certificates in their pockets. The certificates were presented by Manfred Siekmann, Chairman of the SWG Board of Management, at a small ceremony on 29 January, which was also attended by Hans-Jürgen Schulz, Head of Human Resources, and Ruth Biehl-Franze, Peter Zeizinger and Hagen Luh, who are responsible for training at SWG. They all praised the commitment and good performance of the newly qualified municipal utility workers during their apprenticeships. Timo Barwitzki, Dennis Ronzheimer as well as Tobias Jakobi and Nico Schild will initially receive fixed-term employment contracts for one year and will in future actively support the Heat Supply and Energy & Water Networks departments respectively. Stadtwerke Gießen AG would like to congratulate them on passing their final examinations and warmly welcome their new employees.

Training at SWG

As a company that plans for the long term, SWG attaches great importance to training its own skilled workers. To this end, it has its own training centre in the industrial sector with two full-time trainers, Peter Zeizinger and Hagen Luh. This also benefits other companies in the Central Hesse region, which can have their future employees trained at SWG. More information on the subject of training can be found on the SWG website www.stadtwerke-giessen.de under the heading Company.
