Giessen. With temperatures above 30 degrees, early summer attracts people from Giessen and the surrounding area to the Ringallee outdoor pool. While the season started there on 6 May, the two outdoor pools in Lützellinden and Kleinlinden will follow on Sunday, 4 June.

"We have everything ready - now we just need the weather to play ball," says Uwe Volbrecht, Head of Swimming Pool Operations at SWG. Over the past few weeks, SWG has cleaned all the facilities and carried out minor repairs. In Kleinlinden outdoor pool, an awning will also provide shade over parts of the baby pool in future.

WLAN for all and mini triathlon on 1 July
As in the Ringallee outdoor pool, free WiFi has been available to visitors in Kleinlinden and Lützellinden since last year. Everyone can use the SWG WiFi free of charge for 30 minutes a day. Registration for guest access has been simplified. All you have to do is accept the terms of use and privacy policy and click on "Connect now". SWG customers can also authenticate themselves via the SWG online service to choose a user name and password. Unlike all other users, they then have unlimited high-speed access to the internet.

Visitors to the Kleinlinden outdoor pool will experience a special highlight in 2017 on 1 July. The mini short triathlon for young people aged 15 and over and for adults - organised by TSV Kleinlinden - will start in the pool. Anyone can register by sending an email to mkt@tsvkleinlinden.de. More information can be found on the club's website at www.tsvkleinlinden.de.
