There were happy faces to be seen at the Stadtwerke Gießen AG exhibition stand at the MittelhessenSchau at the weekend. No wonder. Together with Gerhard Becker, Head of Organisation of the Tour of Hope, Ina Weller, Head of Marketing at SWG, congratulated the winners of the additional SWG prize draw for the Tour of Hope raffle. The main prize, 5,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity, was won by Lilli Theiss from Grünberg. The second prize, 3,000 kWh, went to Heinrich Ehrenberger from Wettenberg. Andrea Schweitzer from Staufenberg won 2,000 kWh in the additional prize draw. The winners of places four to 20 received various prizes such as watches, espresso sets, pepper mills, baseball caps and umbrellas. The winners were: Ottmar Kraft (Buseck), Guldan Gerhard (Staufenberg), Romana Bender (Biebertal), Jürgen Löchel and Benedikt Timm (Grünberg), Hanne-Lore Stumpf, B. Hartmann (Pohlheim), Renate Thiel (Frankfurt), Monika Häuser (Mühlheim), Anneli Müller (Hambühren), Meike Zimmermann (Kassel), Harald Strehle (Karben), Jochen Peter (Marburg), Wolfgang Grimm (Aschaffenburg), Manfred Linkart (Mücke), Willi Borst (Homberg) and Sibylle Hartmann (Friedberg). SWG has been a partner of the Tour of Hope for nine years now and supports the goodwill campaign with numerous campaigns. Anyone who bought their ticket at events organised by the Giessen-based energy and water supplier was automatically entered into the additional prize draw organised by the municipal utility, as were the 20 winners named.
