Who doesn't know the stressful days before a well-deserved holiday? There's a lot to do and prepare and time is running out. And when something unforeseen comes up, good advice is expensive. It was precisely in this situation that the Hoss family from Klein-Linden discovered a water stain on the ceiling of their kitchen - just before they left on holiday.

Mr Hoss picked up the phone and called the property emergency hotline, a service provided by Stadtwerke Gießen AG (SWG). The emergency number was available immediately and the experts from Reitz-Topmann GmbH in Pohlheim were on site in less than two hours. The damage in the house was quickly discovered and repaired. A leaking shower was the reason for the mishap. The Hoss family didn't even have to pay anything. Up to 250 euros in repair costs per claim are already included in the property emergency service - for just 30.00 euros per year. For the Hoss family, this is money well spent. The company Reitz-Topmann GmbH was also satisfied with the unbureaucratic handling, as the costs of up to EUR 250 were also guaranteed when the order was placed. Nothing stood in the way of the Hoss family's holiday.

For all eventualities

Blown main fuses, faulty heating systems, a washing machine drain hose coming loose - all issues that can cost a lot of money and nerves. Stadtwerke Gießen offers its customers an exclusive property emergency service for such cases. In the event of damage, all the insured person has to do is call a central 24-hour hotline and then worry about nothing else. The employees look for a partner company in the neighbourhood and arrange everything necessary. After two hours at the latest, the specialist will be at the door. Around the clock, 365 days a year.
