Sleep longer and save too? The 9 o'clock tickets make it possible. A tempting offer for anyone travelling later during the week. Because if you travel later, you pay up to 25% less than with classic season tickets. The highlight. The advantages of the season tickets, such as the carriage rule, the option of upgrading to 1st class and discounted single tickets for extending the area of validity, still apply.
Prices
The price of your 9 o'clock ticket depends on the selected area of validity. The RMV area is divided into fare zones. You decide which fare zones you travel through regularly, which then determines the price of your card.

The card is available in paper form or as an eTicket RheinMain. It is transferable - whoever has the card can travel. If you opt for the RMV-HandyTicket, you lose the option of transferring it, as the ticket is personalised.
The first day of validity is freely selectable and is therefore not tied to the 1st of the month. From this day, the ticket is valid up to and including the same calendar day of the following month. You save up to 25% compared to normal monthly tickets and this ticket is also subject to the carry-on rule.
The transferable 9-o'clock annual travelcard offers a price advantage of up to 25 % compared to the normal annual travelcard. You can travel for 12 months but only pay the price for 10 months. Another advantage is the transferability of the card - whoever has the card can travel. Validity begins on the 1st of any month and is valid for one year. You can choose whether to order the card as a subscription with payment by instalments or one-off payment or without a subscription with one-off payment. All changes must be made by the 10th of the previous month and cancellation is possible at the end of the month. The ticket is available as an eTicket RheinMain. In addition, you benefit from all eTicket advantages such as replacement in the event of loss and the take-away rule.
The personalised 9 o'clock annual travelcard also offers you a price advantage of up to 25% compared to the normal annual travelcard. You travel by bus and train for 12 months and pay the price of 10 months. The personalised annual travelcard is only available as a subscription and is not available for the transitional fare zones. You can choose whether you want to purchase the ticket in instalments or with a one-off payment. It is valid from the 1st of any month and is valid for one year. The subscription is automatically renewed unless it is cancelled. Cancellation must be received by the 10th of the last desired month of validity.
The bonus of this ticket is the mobility guarantee. In the event of delays on regional services of more than 5 minutes and an extension of your journey time by more than 20 minutes (without an alternative journey), we will reimburse you up to 15 euros for taxi journeys or train tickets. If you miss your connection, you will be reimbursed up to 30 euros. In addition, all the benefits of the eTicket RheinMain and the benefits of the personal annual travelcard apply.
Your ticket: it's that easy!
All 9 o'clock tickets can be purchased at an RMV sales point, online in the RMV TicketShop or in the RMVgo app. The 9 o'clock monthly ticket can also be purchased from a ticket machine.
To purchase a 9 o'clock annual pass, simply select your preferred type of pass (transferable or personal), your start and destination area and the payment method instalment or one-off payment.
Important note: The transferable 9 O'Clock Annual Travelcard is also available for cash or EC payment at our mobility centre. You can then take the ticket with you immediately.
Purchase options
If you order your ticket online in the RMV TicketShop, the order must be placed by the 20th of the month. The chip card, if you do not already have one, will be sent to you by post. If you already have a chip card registered with meinRMV, this can also be used for online orders. The ticket purchased online will be made available to you electronically after ordering and can then be transferred to the chip card.

If you would like to order your ticket on site, this must be done by the 10th of the previous month. To make ordering your ticket as quick and easy as possible, please bring the completed order form directly to your appointment.
